Our Mission
The Living Patriot Initiative honors current patriots,
educates future patriots, employs disabled patriots and
support causes with a patriotic mission.
The Meaning Behind Our Mission
The Living Patriot Initiative began a few years after I received an American flag that had been flown over Camp Fallujah, Iraq on the fifth anniversary of September 11, 2001.
It frustrated me to see my flag, a flag representing freedom, confined in a dark, wooden case. That very night, I created a display case designed to liberate that flag and display its full, luminous glory.
That’s the story of how the Living Patriot Prism display case came to be.
In fact, my experience with my special flag compelled me to contemplate patriotism in a whole new light.
• I asked myself, who is a real patriot?
• Are patriots honored the way they should be?
• What could I do to provide a product for American citizens that would also benefit American patriots?
After a lot of research, and with my background in design, I formed Living Patriot, LLC and now have the opportunity to…

• create compelling products that appeal to the needs and desires of others who wish to honor the special patriots in their lives
• provide a built-in gift to a living patriot with every unit sold
• help financially support other causes with a patriotic mission, i.e. HonorAndRemember.org
• provide U.S. manufacturing and assembly jobs to adults with disabilities, right here in St. Louis, Missouri
• hire former, disabled and retired military men and women to operate our manufacturing and assembly facility—to make products for patriots, by patriots
• offer a profit sharing system for our employees
• offer high school and college scholarships through design competitions for new products
• hire students for summer intern programs and teach them about entrepreneurship
• develop the “Little Patriots” program so that we can teach children about American patriotism and how and why we honor those who have secured our freedom
• create an “Adopt a Patriot” program whereby children can write to and visit retired and disabled veterans to show their respect, and to give veterans a sense of knowing that the younger generation truly is aware of the sacrifices they have made for them and for our country as a whole
Who is a Patriot?
Did you know that the ratio of patriots who put themselves in harm’s way for us is
very small, given our population?
For example, there are roughly 300 million American citizens, yet only 1% are
US military. Plus, they volunteer for this daunting task. Isn’t that amazing?
